Reggae vocaliser Denroy Morgan has received the primal to the metropolis of Brooklyn, for his years of contribution to fine art and culture.

Denroy Morgan is the father of all the members of Grammy Accolade winning reggae group, Morgan Heritage, and has been a reggae vocaliser for decades. He was honored with the keys to the city at the annual Afro-Caribbean Flavor (Gratuitous) Concert in Brooklyn on Tuesday (Aug. 22). In a message on his Instagram folio, Ras Denroy Morgan thanks his fans for their years of support.

"Receiving the fundamental to Brooklyn was an amazing feeling, receiving this award and sharing the moment with my inner and outer circle family…PRICELESS! All I can do is give thank you and praise to JAH Rastafari," he wrote, while his kids added, "@morganheritage Dad @rasdenroymorgan received the cardinal to the metropolis of Brooklyn New York something long in the making many years many obstacles but God is skillful well deserved accolade such a living legend we love you daddy thank you for all y'all've done for united states The Cede and investment #morganheritage."

The members of Morgan Heritage also paid tribute to their dad during the concert on Tuesday night at Brooklyn's Wingate Field in New York. "Our father, mentor and teacher @rasdenroymorgan. Your persistence and perseverance is 2nd to none. Congrats on receiving the #KeyToTheCity of #Brooklyn. Love you!" the band said.
