Casual Friday

Happy Friday! I was on a work trip all of last week then this week flew by since I felt like I was playing take hold of-upward from being gone. This was my kickoff time away from my baby and it was so proficient to see her little smile when I walked in the door last Friday.

Chloe was baptized a couple weeks agone and I cannot stop thinking nearly how cute she was that solar day. She was on her absolute all-time behavior and fabricated it through church, the anniversary and an entire afternoon of visitors at our house without a unmarried cry or nap. Seriously, she looked and acted like a little angel that day.

Chloe's baptism dress was and so stinking adorable! I ordered it from an Etsy shop and it's absolutely beautiful with its lace bodice and tulle skirt. Information technology'south handmade and was surprisingly affordable.

Two recipes that are rocking my globe lately: homemade honey lemonade and lazy cookie confined (these cookies are ridiculously piece of cake). I tried both of these when nosotros had family visiting and they were a big hitting!

The FixnZip visitor asked me if I wanted to try out their production and, since my handbag has sadly been sitting in the closet with a broken zipper since last summer, I agreed to give information technology a try. It really worked! I used the medium FixnZip to ready my purse and added the original keychain/pull thingie from my old zipper onto the new i and so yous can hardly tell the difference. Now my purse can come back out of hibernation! If you have a cleaved zipper on a purse, jacket, sleeping bag, etc. you should really bank check out their products. I'm impressed.

I finished Girl Wash Your Facerecently and it is really skillful! Every affiliate has an actionable takeaway and the brusque chapters are substantially standalone life lessons then y'all can hands pick it upwardly and read a few pages as you have fourth dimension. It's an especially great read for moms.

I've mentioned my obsession with these Rubbermaid food containers many times before, but I really do constantly appreciate them. I've been doing so skilful at meal prep and packing our lunches to bring to work, and it'due south actually nice to have quality containers that really wait nice but are withal safe to pop in the microwave.

I've near checked off all of my projects for the plant nursery! It's only taken me eight months, simply the room is finally how I envisioned it from day one. My latest projection was building DIY picture frames for some art I fabricated for over the crib. I love, dear, dear the pretty pop of colour they add to that wall!
