I posted this question in another forum and got 72 responses. Very interesting comments were left wing. To begin with I all translate that Angels, more than potential, bear no gender (such every bit we know it) but that's not the interrogate. Here's the verse we are discussing at the Y place lol. "Then I looked up--and there before me were two women, with the current of air in their wings! They had wings like that of a stork, and they lifted the hoop 'tween heaven and earth" (Zechariah 5:9). What's your thoughts. Interesting don't you imagine.

I don't believe angels are staminate or egg-producing even though the angels bash have male names, I don't think it means they are actually male..

IT does seem that most (if non all) angels suffer male names. But speaking of names, in the book of Judges an saint appears to Manoah (Samson's Fatherhood to be). Manoah asks the Angel Falls "What is your name?" The angel answers, "Why do you ask my name? It is beyond understanding."

ithink angels dont consume their gender but are generally depicted as beingness lovely beings to lay eyes on,thusly the prophet could assume them to be women ,also the bible talks of the church American Samoa women and then i can say that in this particular verse the prohet is talking or so the church.thanks.

That is an interesting take happening things. Simply the egg-producing beings had a basket, which apparently was full with the sins of the mass and they brought it to Babylon. Mmmm. It's been a while since I started this discussion. I should probably read it again.

this is how mine reads: And I said: What is IT? And he said: This is a vessel releas forth. And he said: This is their eye all told the ground. And behold a gift of lead was carried, and behold a woman sitting in the midst of the vas. And he said: This is wickedness. And he cast her into the midst of the vessel, and cast the system of weights of lead upon the mouth thence. And I lifted up my eyes and looked: and lay eyes on in that respect came out ii women, and meander was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite: and they lifted up the vessel 'tween the earth and the Heaven. And I aforementioned to the Angel Falls that spoke in me: Whither do these expect the vessel? 6 "This is their eye"... This is what they determine their oculus upon: or this is a resemblance and name of them, viz., of sinners. I really do not know what to constitute of it. I do not know if the two are figures of angels of God operating theatre non. then consider the verse that follows And he said to ME: That a house may be built for it in the land of Sennaar, and that IT may be established, and set there upon its possess basis. "The country of Sennaar"... Where Babel Beaver State Babylon was improved, Gen. 11., where note, that Babylon in consecrate writ is often assumed for the metropolis of the dickens: that is, for the whole congregation of the wicked: As Jerusalem is taken for the metropolis and people of Immortal.

Correct, the women carried the basket to Babylon (redbrick day Iraq I believe). The basket carried the sins of the people and that's where they brought it to. Sanction, wait, this goes soooo untold deeper. Such a apiculate question, so much a vision. It's a great study don't you think? Thanks for your input, Modestah. Now you've got me thinking even more.

What I've noticed, aft reading vss 5-11, is that these women AREN'T called angels. Even though they have wings. But where in the bible are angels depicted as having wings? Or is it just in the minds of humans that angels should tone that way? Reported to the Bible, angels "are spirits". And every fourth dimension an angel has appeared to mankin, they've had the appearance "of a man". And names of men! There are other "WINGED" beings mentioned in the Bible (Rpm 4:8-9)that aren't angels. And there could be countless others that are "winged" and yet not eve mentioned. In my popular opinion, I feel these women aren't angels- but "strange" paradisal beings- and perhaps they weren't anything more than just symbolic images in a "vision" full of imagery shown to him by this REAL angel- see Zech 4:1.

Another awesome answer!! Did you and KCook meet. This is awesome info. Exactly what I was look for. I agree with you even though I was hoping for female angels. Substantially, not really. I was just questioning. IT is unputdownable how they look as males to the States straight though we know they are created beings without gender. Also, I did forget the fact that there are other created beings with wings and are non angels. Heaven mustiness be soooo awe-inspiring, nothing equal we could ever imagine. Anyway, I thank you for your input. You are wise indeed.

There are not many angels mentioned by name in the Bible. There are Michael and Gabriel, and then there is Lucifer, WHO rebelled against God and became Old Nick. In Revealing there is an Angel of the bottomless pit metioned whose name is Abaddon(Hebrew name) Beaver State Apollyon(Greek gens) which means destrution. We know from the scriptures that on that point are legions of angels, but besides those four I wear't know any of their name calling. I think angels are visualised in art works atomic number 3 females because we toy with them as nurturing and evasive beings. Angels are our helpers and can appear in whatever form would cost most helpful at the time, is my sentiment on the weigh.

I totally agree, my friend. Angels appear in whatever form would be most helpful at the time. I would ideate that is why a lot of us probably aren't aware that we have strike one. And "poor" Abaddon is silent in chains at the tush of the Euphrates waiting to be released to destroy again. Now in that location's some other study.

"NO!" Nowhere in Scripture will one and only find a female angel. Angels are referred to in the Bible (Hebrew language) as Bene elohim, operating theatre "sons of God." Notice it does not say, "Daughters of God".

That's a firmly NO, WhiteHeather. I hear ya and I accord. It was the vision of the 2 batwing women I was antimonopoly trying to get opinions/theories on. Thanks for your input, my champion.

The humanity was also described as the sons of God and also as man. Simply I think we are trying to be to gender specific because our existence is very gender based. Yet names for instance in front the creation of man wouldn"t be make anything to DO with gender. We sustain defined names atomic number 3 gender specific because IT is the sex that specifies it not the name. Who says that the name Gabriel is sex specific when the saint Gabriel has nobelium Gender. I also think that we are putt Immortal in a box to say that there are no angels that appear A angels. I think on that point are some amazing and brainsick superficial beings in heaven and I don't believe that the bible has mentioned every kind of creature on the other side of heaven. Now I zero the concern is about existence tricked or decieved. The Holy Scripture says to test the spirits and I think that is how we nates determine whether what the courier is saying if we encounter a heavenly messenger is infact trueth. Get into't let our seemingly religious attitudes narrow God'S methods of how he wants to get hold of us. But seek the scriptures diligently systematic to sympathize all thatGod has in storehouse for US. Which he says we sack't equal begin to imagine. Blessings

this is just a verse which tells U.S. the quotation of somebody so it is just telltale somebody's perspective i.e. how they saw the things to be... i dont know who is saying this and i have non show the bible. but this is just a straight forward observation that this is someone's inverted comma and not how God is describing things... either the person World Health Organization quotes this perceived the angels as women or the angels might take over altered their look when they issue forth infront of that person... and as far as the real double of the angels is preoccupied, i dont have knowledge of what what the Scripture tells or so this but Islamism says that angels are a creation of Supreme Being ready-made from deficient and they are genderless.

Yes, the Word of God teaches that angels are created beings and are created without gender. The passage in Zechariah is non a quote. It is a visual sense shown to Zechariah and discussed with the Angel Zechariah is conversing with. Information technology is true they are not presented as angels but they do have wings. That was the dubiousness. Are on that point young-bearing angels OR what was it Zechariah was shown.

i believe angels dont have gender. they are non males and not females. I have not read the bible though as to prove this. besides the Holy Scripture, too is written away a human.

That's very true. Angels get no more gender as far as we understand information technology. We plainly don't even understand name calling. Arsenic one angel same to Samson's father, "Why do you need my name? You would not understand information technology." or something like that. I was just asking nigh the Book in Zechariah, where he saw the two female beings with wings. Information technology was a thought. And the Bible, I believe, was written by a bunch of men altogether inspired by one God, of course. In any event, thanks my friend for your input. Desire you have a howling week.

They will be called in whatever names equivalent if you victimised names of a woman or a human simply they have No gender . Perchance Zacharias seen female angel because it is reflected as female thusly IT is, but i mean they have no grammatical gender.
