Outstanding jacket. Fits a tad snug but that prevents the wind from seeping thru.

This jacket is as warm as a bulky jacket without the BULK!

I bought this jacket for a ski trip to Park City, UT. It kept me warm and dry.

Definitely a quality item, seemed to run small, less room for shoulder mobility than I expected

Buy it! I purchased this for a trip to Colorado and I can't wait to wear it! So cozy. Really unsure how so many people commented on this saying the size is wrong. I am usually a small in everything (5'2 100 lbs) and ordered an XS and it fits me perfectly.

I'm 5'2" tall and 155 pounds. I ordered the bi-Nocturnal color in the size large. I like this jacket. It's quite flattering on me and it's warm enough for my climate in the Southern United States. I'm a short person, so the front bottom hem of this jacket falls a bit below the bottom of my crotch, which is the opposite of where it falls on the model. I expected that and it's not a problem. Because regular sizes in coats are inevitably a bit too long in the arms for me, I need a coat in this brand that I can snug up at the cuffs. Via Velcro closures, the outer cuffs of this jacket are generously adjustable for a snug fit. My bra size is about 38D presently, so I'm in between sizes on Columbia's size chart. This jacket in the large size is not constricting but is just slightly snug across my chest. I ordered the correct size; a medium would have been almost surely too tight. Being a jacket suitable for skiing, I suspected that the outer fabric would be rugged and resistant to tears. I also assumed that this jacket would allow for tremendous arm and shoulder mobility. Well, I was correct on both counts. I may never ski in this jacket, but I have other plans it. When I work outside during the winter months on my small farm, I need a warm but rugged jacket that allows for maximum mobility. This jacket seems to fit the bill, and it's a flattering fit to boot.

I love the coat. It is lightweight and keeps you warm. The only thing I don't like is the zipper. Something is wrong with mine. I constantly open at the bottom when you have it zipped. I would have given it 5 stars except for the zipper problem.

Warm and comfortable, perfect for snowboarding. It was a bit short for my 5'8 tall daughter, otherwise it would be perfect.

Beautiful jacket! Ordered white/gray color in XS for 12 twelve year daughter. This is a fitted style. I am going to order a larger size to use for two seasons. Disappointed that a womens XS was recommended after outgrowing youth sizes but it did work.

The jacket is very flattering. I ordered a size small which I normally wear but it was snug around the hips. I am reordering in a medium. I was also a bit disappointed the navy in the coat did not match the navy in the snow pants I ordered. I am reordering the jacket in navy/orange in hopes of a better match.

I really wanted to like this jacket. I'm needing to replace my old Columbia jacket that has served me well for a few years but is starting to show its age and also isn't waterproof (or even water resistant). This jacket was the only one I could find on the website that was waterproof, insulated, and had a removeable (or no) hood (I hate hoods and wear a waterproof hat instead). I sized up to a medium based on the item description, but I don't think I really needed to overall. However, the proportions were just odd for me. It was pretty loose at the waist but tight at the hips and the sleeves were at least 2 inches too long. I would have tried a size or two down, but I don't think it would have worked because of the tightness at the hips.

I have another Columbia ski jacket (years old) in XS, so after reading reviews I decided to size up and purchase this in a size small. The jacket is very figure flattering, but unfortunately even after sizing up, it was pretty tight in the armpits/shoulder area and restricted comfortable arm movement. If I had gone for a medium, it would have been too big in the waist and hips. I am 5'5" and 120lbs for reference. Sadly, I am returning because I don't think it would be comfortable for a day of snowboarding.

Overall good jacket, except for zipper. After wearing a couple of times the zipper started to come apart from the bottom when zipped up.

Great coat but terrible zipper. The zipper is small and came apart after one use. Returning coat. Columbia has always stood for quality but this will change my mind.

I was disappointed in this jacket. It didn't keep me warm while skiing this winter. The zipper broke on the second day of use. I had to rely on the snaps and Velcro to keep it closed while skiing. The fit is tight around the hips and loose around my shoulders and waist.

So disappointed with the fit. Ordered as a gift. Sent this one back and tried a different style and had the same problem; too small. I know I ordered the size that she always wears in Columbia so it was not a happy gift giving. Have now returned both jackets.
